Pre-Screening After we receive your application materials, an On Assignment recruiter conducts a pre-qualifying telephone interview and schedules a personal interview. During this in-person interview, we assess your technical skills and competencies for appropriate matching. We also get to know you as a person - your abilities, aspirations and expectations. The pre-screening process plays a critical role in finding the right position for your skills, experience and preferences. Assignment Preparation Finding the assignment is only the first step. We also prepare you and help you present yourself to your best advantage. This includes a thorough briefing on the assignment and employer so you know what to expect, as well as career advice, planning and support. Our On Assignment recruiter works with you to write an effective resume, improve your interviewing skills and help you take the next step in your career. SafetyReady Program The safety of our On Assignment employees, clients and patients is important to us. Our account executives conduct a safety checklist at every client location. And every On Assignment contract employee must complete our SafetyReady safety-training program before beginning an assignment. We also provide HIPAA and JCAHO training. Assignment Mentoring Your recruiter stays in contact with you and your supervisor throughout the assignment to ensure a successful experience. On Assignment recruiters are your career agent and advocate, answering questions, offering advice, counsel and support. Whatever you need, your recruiter is there to connect you to the right resources within On Assignment. For additional support, our Service Center is open Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST. Reassignment Services Our People First approach also means that we take an active part in managing the contract relationship. We maintain a job history on every employee, updating your skill assessments and competencies to ensure appropriate job matches and help you find and transition to subsequent assignments. Contract-to-Hire Conversion The care and attention we devote to meeting the needs of our clients and candidates often results in permanent placements. Many of our employees are hired by our clients as full-time employees.
